The New England Patriots shut the "easy schedule" critics up by knocking off the visiting Los Angeles Chargers in Sunday's wild-card playoff game.

Drake Maye threw a touchdown pass to Hunter Henry in the fourth quarter, and New England's defense roughed up Herbert as the Patriots beat Los Angeles 16-3 in an AFC wild-card playoff game.

Maye did it when it mattered most, finishing 11-for-14 in the second half — which included his beautiful touchdown pass that ended up being the only one of the game.
