Chick-fil-A has been delighting customers with its delicious crispy chicken, iconic waffle fries, and plethora of sauces for years—80 years to be exact. S. Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant in 1946, called The Dwarf House, and while the chain has undergone a few changes—including the name—the legacy of Chick-fil-A has remained the same.

Chick-fil-A is poised to open its first location in the city of Delaware as part of a new commercial development planned for the northeast corner of Sunbury Road and Skyview Lane. The proposed project would include six commercial buildings and parking lots on a more than 10-acre site,

Chick-fil-A is celebrating its 80th anniversary in a big way with a “Newstalgia” Campaign. All year long, the chain will add new and returning specialty items to celebrate the milestone, including free Chick-fil-A for a year for certain lucky guests.
