Forest Global Earth Observatory (ForestGEO) is a global network of forest research sites and scientists who are active in 77 forest research sites across the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. That's seven million trees! Every five years, scientists conduct a survey of their research site to assess the long-term health of the forest.
